Official chainIn November 1976 the Spanish air force opened a file on a night at Talavera la Real, and the file was eventually released to the public along with the rest of the Ejército del Aire's UFO archive. What the record resolves
A shape, a height, a number of figures. Nothing that resolves a body.
Giant, luminous, anthropomorphic; the lower body unresolved. The wording is a press report inside an official file.
On that description this archive reads the form as Other morphology. That is a reading of recorded words, not the record classifying itself.
The record
An official file preserves that a report was made and examined. It does not, by itself, establish what was seen.

What is not settled
The document is official and what it holds, at the point that matters, is a press report. The Spanish declassification is one of the most complete in Europe and it is precisely that completeness which shows what is absent here: the original statements of the airmen are not in the file. An official archive can preserve a newspaper cutting without endorsing it.
