What is not settled
THE DECISIVE NEGATIVE: a researcher querying Poland's Institute of National Remembrance for his 2013 book found not a single document. The militia visit is attested only in testimony and later journalism. His alternative is that a local UFO enthusiast with a documented history of faking UFO photographs and staging incidents elsewhere influenced or shaped the account.
