What the record resolves
Lights, a shadow, remains, or an allegation with no observation behind it.
Physical specimens, examined and found to be assembled from human and animal remains.
The record
An official file preserves that a report was made and examined. It does not, by itself, establish what was seen.
- Peruvian Public Ministry / Mexican Congress Official proceedings concerning alleged non-human tridactyl bodies (opens in a new tab)

What is not settled
Peruvian prosecutors and forensic institutions have examined the material and concluded it is assembled from human and animal remains. This case is kept here because it was rejected, not in spite of it: it is the clearest available example of what an official examination of a physical claim looks like when the claim does not survive it.
