The record

An official file preserves that a report was made and examined. It does not, by itself, establish what was seen.

The document is attached to this entry.

What is not settled

A preprint from a state institute, not a peer-reviewed or state-endorsed finding, and criticised on straightforward grounds: two-station triangulation of fast faint low-contrast targets on meteor cameras is highly sensitive to timing errors, and the extraordinary velocities fall out of the distance assumption rather than being measured. Insects, birds and near-camera debris reproduce the phantom signature.
