ReportedIn the autumn of 1989 the Soviet state news agency put out a dispatch reporting that a large object had landed in a park in Voronezh and that residents, many of them children, had seen an enormous three-eyed figure and a small robot. TASS was not in the habit of printing this sort of thing, and the story went around the world in a day.
