What is not settled
The 2004 DNA result concluded the remains were a premature human female infant with severe deformities - and that testing had to be done on secondary material because the corpse itself had disappeared. The finder had a documented psychiatric history. The strongest reading is a deformed human neonate found inside the 1957 Kyshtym fallout zone, mythologised after the body vanished.
