What is not settled
A FIRM NEGATIVE FINDING. The whole evidentiary base is a private investigator's group interviews of 2-6 children at a time with requested drawings, a BBC correspondent's filming, and a psychiatrist's interviews two months later. No Zimbabwean police, education-ministry or military body took a statement, opened a file or visited the site. Group interviewing of young children with drawing prompts is the textbook mechanism for cross-suggestion. Some children framed the figures as tokoloshe, local folklore, not extraterrestrials.
