The record
An official file preserves that a report was made and examined. It does not, by itself, establish what was seen.
- Lothian and Borders Police CID; police forensic examination of clothing; West Lothian Council Police assault investigation file, Dechmont Law incident; West Lothian Council public information sheet (opens in a new tab)
The document is attached to this entry.
What is not settled
A genuine police criminal enquiry, not filed correspondence, but the surviving primary police file is not published; the council sheet is a secondary summary. Single witness. Sceptical explanations on record: stored PVC pipes producing the ground marks with a mirage of Venus; and a temporal-lobe episode consistent with the reported paralysis. NOTE: no occupant was described - the spiked spheres are mechanical, and any entity framing is later embellishment.
