What is not settled
INVESTIGATION with MoD-generated assessment and Defence Intelligence input, though public letters are also in the file and it is redacted. The strongest competing explanation is a Cosmos rocket body re-entry in the early hours of 31 March 1993, which fits many wide-area reports; the low slow triangle described by the RAF personnel is a separate element.
